My Nana Floats Now was written to help my two young children process the loss of their Nana to Leiomyosarcoma, a rare form of sarcoma that develops in the smooth muscle cells of the body.
 
The writing process also helped my journey of acceptance and sparked conversations between my mum and I, about how to best support each other and our family during this difficult time.
 
My hope is that reading this story with your children, will bring some level of comfort to you all.
